Hunter graphs and its activities

Hello everyone, I have a question to ask yourself, I have a accaunt active 6 months, but I can not understand a thing of the hunter, could you explain to me the plot of 'activities that generate the' hunter, that I noticed that in many activities (*) in the graph is depicted as a squared without lines would mean what? and above all how do I know when a fleet lands (from graph) knowing that the player is constantly changing time?
