OA Port to alter
« on: December 29, 2011, 07:17:10 PM »

Hello, I am going with a Vodafone SIM card online, so that now it scheind Vodafone OA blocks the port used. Currently, I make do with a dial on the PROXISERVE but this is cumbersome and at a slow pace. Now to my question: How can I change the port in OA? Which port use OA matrimonial? I once looked into the config.ini there is a port 9402nd If I change I get an error message.
Can help me there one?

You cannot use wireless broadband to allow access to OA from outside because the ISP use a private network (10.x.x.x) internally and pass everything through a gateway firewall + NAT. Changing the ports will not help because ISP block all incoming (therefore you cannot set up a server on these kinds of network)

ok. this may be but I had a different provider and where everything went wonderfully. That is, but for me the current provider blocks certain ports. Or I see something wrong?

Alternatively you can use VPN tunneling to a US website. You can google more about setting up VPNs. You will likely have to pay for the VPN service but its not that expensive.

This is all very well and good but at school they would have said "wrong topic". I'm currently using a proxy - pure server. Simple tile my question was, how in the OA or change the ports? Because if I can change the port I do not need VPN's and also a proxy - server.

But now I have another problem if I change the port in the config.ini I get the error message: Wrong username or password. What can I do now?
