0.99.93 RC 6 : Getting closer ...

As usual I'm pleased to announce OA update .93, many improvements have been made since .87
- Fully revisited/optimized Construction Sim, the speed increased up to 10x
- added Builder Tab
- hardcoded avoid tiny inactive targets
- Some additional options in Hunter
- added icons (thanks to AqueRUS, who have provided some icons and forum's logo)
- added the Expedition from a Random Solar System (suggested by Vammpi)
How to :



Changes log :
.93 : added the Expedition from a Random Solar System, hardcoded avoid tiny inactive targets, fix in configs loading, BusyBox corrected, Stop job handler corrected, fix in Fleet Sender when speed != 100, optimization of Auto transport, languages have been updated
.92 : fix in galaxy page parsing, fix in http proxy connector, fix in Auto transport, fix in Fleet Saver
.91 : Fleet Slots limit detection fixed for an incoming OGame version, fixs for espionage report parsing, added upper limit 3590 to planet update, fix in Auto transport, corrections in Resources Gathering, fix in planets detection, Construction Sim speed increased up to 2x, fix in Fleet Saver, added several icons, languages have been updated
.90 : Construction Sim speed increased up to 4x, Fleet Saver corrected, fixs in Hunter, Ships/Defs Builder limit updated to 999.999, added several icons, languages have been updated
.89 : added Builder Tab, added "Select & Spy" option to Enemies selector, Reduced Overall memory usage by tuning DB and VM start up params, languages have been updated
.88 : fix in FS (Save only on no attacked planet), added SSL and cookie management in OGame Web Access, added max deuterium usage for any fleet sent by Bot&Hunter, reduced CPU usage (Hunter & Overview), languages have been updated
.87 : Optimized Construction Sim (priority to Robotic Factory/Nanites if too much resources are available), GUI Tables fixs, fix in connection handler, fixs in server back end and in client's reconnection, corrections in database, languages have been updated

great work!

...but the "set" Button at Raid bot is not working anymore, only the "start bot" Button  :-\

btw, I would appreciate if I could get answers to some postings from me from the last 10 days  ;)

From database, System time is taken for calculation. So if OA says it's 15 mins, it's 15 mins since OA observes it.

Stop posting on news Section, it nothing to do here. >:(

great work devil!

but i dont understand the "random solar system" option for expedition! The fastest and best expedition solar system is your own solar system. Even when you fly there all day, the message (when you send a spy within the expo fleet) will always tell you "you are the first here!". As long as no other player flies his expeditions in the same solar system, it keeps telling you that!

Flying further ways makes expedition less rewarding!

Don't know but currently testing, and about 95% of expeditions report something interesting, not sure it's the same if you send them on the same solar system all the time. Any discussions about it on the official board ?

Without random selection OA permanent task will send expeditions on the same solar system in short time, rewarding only the first expedition because all your expedition fleets are there at almost the same time, with random solar selection it's very unlikely.

tested this night and can confirm that sending on the same solar system is less profitable :

Same solar system / 3 slots full all time / hold in expedition 6 hours :
Crystal 90.519 have been captured.
Dark Matter 138 have been captured.
nothing
Dark Matter 336 have been captured.
Deuterium 54.860 have been captured.
nothing
Alians
nothing
nothing

Random solar system radius 10 / 3 slots full all time / hold in expedition 3 hours :
about 95% of expeditions are getting something.

For me it makes sense, more the solar system is visited more it's 'harvested'.

Test by yourself, you will see.  ;)

Great work DH, OA is already top notch and you just keep making it better and better.  Ogame is so much more enjoyable when you can have a life and still feel safe when you sleep ;) awesome work!
