I can confirm: JVM under x64 system woks really smooth. It may suffer a little because jwebbrowser class can't have full benefits from 64-bit architecture, but it works really nice!

By the way, asdasd have a look here : it's described really good how JVM manages it's threads in order to account for memory usage. Also you can find explained why Task Manager provides inaccurate ( over-estimated ) readings of JVM memory usage :)

@asdasd :
Does the memory usage increases instantly or progressively over the time ?
The size of OA/Database Folder ?
OS ? x86 or x64 ? Java version ?
Can you also produce debug logs and send me them by email.
Try to disable the internal browser by replacing OA/swt-3.6.jar by an empty file. Then test again.

I reported the popup failure
in messages tab there is no popup, it was just a little GUI bug

now i have deleted all and i have restart oa.jar and now the memory is 128mb... now i have scan from 1 to 5 galaxy and the database is 14, 2 mb... before the memory usage increases instantly...
os x86 java version "1.6.0_21"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_21-b07)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 17.0-b17, mixed mode, sharing)

Will this beta also have the incoming fleet simulator emulation ?

Because i love it ! I saw a lot of rips comming my way and saw the simulation that i would lose a lot and OA saved perfectly.

Tried the messages feature, but how long do i need to wait for a update ?
I have 7 messages now and i do not see any messages in OA

This function is just what I was missing - great !

The delete all function is really necessary, without I had to deactivate the function.
I encountered some problems with the commander in the first version (without the delete all function), it did only parse the espionage messages, nothing else - since my commander expired I cannot tell if this problem still exists.

What I would like to be added is:
1. checkboxes to show only messages from players and/or espionage messages and/or being spyed messages, combat reports, etc. .... at this moment the sort function can be used to show these types seperately, but this is not a very good way if there are a lot of messages and most messages are from "fleet command", but still are different types like combat or espionage.
(maybe instead of checkboxes some system with a column at the left like in thunderbird or other mail clients with "combat", "espionage" etc. folders ?)
2. colours for each type of message, exspecially for the combat reports (maybe just like it is in ogame with yellow, white and red)
3. some sign (maybe a colour or so) if a new message has been found with the posibility to leave out for example espionage messages

Keep on the great work !

Ok tested the new beta for one day now, and i love the new messages feature !

Can it be inplemented that i reply in OA on private or ally messages ? That would be sweet, it's almost the only reason that i use my browser besides OA

Yes, it's included currently by default.

Quite dynamic and depend on timings (about (5 mins + random) divided by speed uni), updating is there in case you are away and when you are back, OA saved old messages, quick check and you are aware of you friend's messages.

Can it be implemented that i reply in OA on private or ally messages ?
Currently no, but will think about, messages have to be opened in proxifeed mode from localhost...

I understand it, but the messages are not normalized, check the attachment : messages on German, English, Russian, Polish accounts. Quite difficult to define filters, but basic filtering will be implemented in next builds.

Will update publicly OA to .96 during this night.

@rama111 :
still testing, after code optimizations...

@asdasd :
Which language ?
Can you provide me a test case :
In the Hunter select only one target having solar satellites,
wait until OA probes it and set the attack value to Ready to go.
Close OA, and send me OA/temp folder.

Is it possible sort sort the messages on date ?
Currently i see everything scrambled.

When i have for example 50 messages collected when playing online and OA takes over, all messages are imported backwards.

Click on the TIME tab and you'll have organized for date AND time :)

Thay does not work.
All messages have the same date and time. The time stamp is not the same as from the original message.
