Dear OA users,

After some pauses in the development, here a beta version of what the next public update will at least include.

I've added many 'little' options which have to be tested in long run mode :

Automated Galaxy Scans/Spy Reports Sharing
By default any user will be in the 'default' sharing group and will receive updates from the 'default' group. For the default group the player/planet activity is hidden in order to avoid the possibility for GA/GO retrieve who has scanned the galaxy at the precise minute.
By setting the group to empty, the sharing from you will be disabled (no sending, no reception).
By setting the group to something different to 'default' would mean a private sharing between users of that group (it's mainly for allies).

It's a real-time sharing, there is no buffering on the Server, so if OA is closed you would not receive any shared data during that period.
A gateways on the server could be added, so in future releases shared galaxy scans could be sent to Galaxy Tools, Open Galaxy etc.

Database performance option
Some uses have reported the database corruption, so now the default option on the database is Data durability, but you can change it in global options

Fleet Saver
Added the Fleet Saver speed selector, and OA would not FS on any espionage mission arriving within 2 minutes. Pay attention the behavior have to be tested.

Fleet Sender : Search for the Best Combination for your attack fleet
I guess it would be useful for active players ;)

Fleet Sender : option 'Ignore Available Fleet Slots'
Set a High priority to scheduled fleets

Hunter : option 'Do not attack'
Several times asked option, now added, but have I tested it ? ...

fix main window freezes
An annoying bug finally has been fixed, mainly seen on Hunter Tab [Enemy Selector]

Known issues :
Farming Bot : the Fast Attack button selects recently scanned enemies as they have been already scanned (but not by you). It's liked to Galaxy Scans/Spy Reports Sharing, I don't know if I have to consider it as a bug or as a feature...
Automated Sharing : a bug in third party module will prevent from reception after a network reset, OA have to be restarted in order to receive again shared data.

All changes :
added the speed selector to Fleet Saver
added automated Galaxy Scans/Spy Reports Sharing
added Database performance option
added search for the Best Combination for your attack fleet
fix main window freezes
Database lib updated
SWT lib updated
Internal Browser lib updated
added Fleet Sender option 'Ignore Available Fleet Slots'
added Hunter option 'Do not attack'
added option 'Reset all status'
languages have been updated

I don't know exactly the rules for def to debris, have set SALVAGE to DEFENSE 30% and for that 30%, 30% goes to metal and 30% to crys, not sure it's correct

if it's not correct, send me what it have to be

that's correct. thanks for fast reply, the integrated browser somehow does not work on the beta as well as the galaxy scan fails to reply to the database?

Nice to finally see an update :)

But for the inactivity farming could you please add an option to reprope peopel so I dont have to "stop bot" when all my fleetsslots are sent out. Because when these fleets returns after 2-4 hours then the values I have proped are too old and aint really valid anymore. But as it is now I have to manually restart the bot and make it re prope. This would really be an awesome feature, espeacilly because I can leave it on at night then and it will make good raids through the night (Where profit is highest)

So its a feature your thinking about, but it will require a lot of reprogramming of those 2 functions?

By the way, the def to debris you did works partially. You made salvage to defense as 30% def's 30% goes to debris. so only 9% goes to debris instead of 30% ... the calculation is repeated twice somewhere in the code...

Not really,
new Optimized Attack would be old Optimized Attack + old Fast Attack
and for new Fast Attack option, have to add an always running instance of the attack thread as for Hunter, so copy and paste the code and reorganize threads flow (for the last one will need some time in order to test...)

Anyway, the original post is to gather some feedbacks about new options,

The new features work great , the priority in fleet sender, the %loss allowed, the do not attack features in hunter are very useful indeed. havent tried sharing yet but thanks again for the fast replies

Without reading the FAQs inhere on the forum then no I did not know what the different features where.

How about you make a tooltips on mouseover for all the checkboxes, just copypaste the text from the FAQ for starters

Greetings DH,

An amazing feature you could of work on, would be to send spy probes in Hunter tab before the attack and delay it with some spy probes aswell, so you can know if the enemy has moved ships to stamp you, with that said advanced players such as me, would enjoy it alot.
